UTS Offer Letter! Woohoo!

So yeah,

After super duper long wait, on 27th May 2015, I received my offer letter from UTS. Alhamdulillah. Couldn't be happier!

But then.....tonnes of problems appeared at that very moment itself.

I had around one month and a half before flying off to Australia. (Orientation started on 20th July) Finals were around the corner too. AND TONNES OF COMPLICATED PROCEDURES NEEDED TO BE DONE.

1) I need to get approval from my scholarship (UEM).
I sent an email to the person in charge and guessed what? I was informed that I could only know the result somewhere around 20th June. My oh my. So, after some thoughts, I decided just to accept the offer, and then hope and pray that I will be approved.

2) I need to buy OSHC and then accept the offer letter.
Bought the OSHC, sent the acceptance letter back to UTS as soon as possible.

3) I need to apply for the visa.
Once I received Certificate of Enrollment (COE) from UTS, I could start applying for the visa. Trust me, you need lots and lots of perseverance, determination and willingness for the visa application. I decided to apply online and every time I called asking about the evidence I need to provide, I was asked to prepare thousands of things such as bank statement, this and that. Ugh! Nightmare!

I also need to medical checkup done only at one of the panelist, and obviously there is none in Johor. It was in the middle of exam weeks, and I decided to go to KL for the medical checkup. But luck wasn't on my side because I realised that my passport was in Penang! After the all the hurly-burly, I did my medical checkup around 2nd July.

4) I need to buy flight tickets.
It was two weeks before the flying date, and I don't even have a flight ticket yet. If I'm not mistaken, on the same day as the medical checkup, (I am pretty sure it was in the first week of July) I bought the ticket. Guess what? The cheapest ticket PEN-KUL-SYD was on 16/07/2015 night. My flight to KL was around 8 PM, then my flight to Sydney was around 11.45 PM. Guess what? MALAM RAYA OKAY!
